Profile Description

We’re seeking someone to join our team as (Associate) .Net Fullstack Developer who have experience in developing cutting-edge, scalable technology solutions. The selected candidate will become a member of the team which develops the platform for banking & payment services. The individual will participate in design and architecture sessions and develop code which is in alignment with system architecture and integration design standards. Candidate will work as part of an Agile squad and interact with other squad members as well as external stakeholders including business and technology partners (local as well as global) across Wealth Management, infrastructure team, architecture team to deliver the objectives.

WM_Technology

Wealth Management Technology is responsible for the design, development, delivery, and support of the technical solutions behind the products and services used by the Morgan Stanley Wealth Management Business. Practice areas include: Analytics, Intelligence, & Data Technology (AIDT), Client Platforms, Core Technology Services (CTS), Financial Advisor Platforms, Global Banking Technology (GBT), Investment Solutions Technology (IST), Institutional Wealth and Corporate Solutions Technology (IWCST), Technology Delivery Management (TDM), User Experience (UX), and the CAO team.

Services Tech

Services Technology is a dynamic and fast-paced area within the Firm's WM Technology Division. The charter of this department is to develop applications that covers Service to Sales which includes Contact Center, Client Onboarding, Account Opening, CRM, JAWS, Document Management, Workflows, RPA that supports FAs, CSAs, and Operations.

Software Engineering

This is Associate position that develops and maintains software solutions that support business needs.

What you’ll do in the role:

• Design and develop common business services / components that are the core foundation blocks across all systems and service model as part of API management best practices and REST design paradigms.
• Implement features like versioning, caching, authentication, authorization, throttling, circuit braking, traceability, aggregation, orchestration, discovery, monitoring, alerts, and analytics.
• Work as an Agile squad member and interact with other squad members as well as external stakeholders including business and technology partners (local as well as global) across Wealth Management, infrastructure team, architecture team to deliver the objectives.
• Employ CI/CD well as DevOps principles to achieve SDLC goals of the firm.
• Take complete ownership of the systems from analysis to development to unit testing as well as production support.
• Build forward looking interfaces that will support continuous integration across multiple applications.

What you’ll bring to the role:

Must have skills:

• 3+ years of professional experience using .NET technologies with an emphasis on C#, Restful APIs
• 2+ years of professional experience in Angular and or any other UI technologies
• 3+ years of experience creating/consuming web services and data
• Should have 1+ years’ experience of working with geographically dispersed teams, that fall across different time zones
• Strong Communication Skills
• Strong Analysis, Design and Development Skills
• Good problem-solving skills
• Solid understanding and experience with Object-Oriented design and development

Good to have skills:

• Prior work experience with cloud-based applications, .Net core, docker or container-based applications
• Prior work on in the banking/brokerage industry a plus
• Prior work experience with multi-threaded/ performance intensive applications
• Working experience with Agile methodologies would be useful·
