Corteva Agriscience LLC seeks a full-time Data Scientist II based in Indianapolis, IN. This position is responsible for enhancing our analytical pipeline by working on various optimization problems in production, supply chain, crop protection and breeding.
Requires: Master’s degree or equivalent in Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, Operations Research, or a related field & 6 months related exp. Must also have demonstrated exp with the following: (1) designing, implementing, productionizing, and deploying data science products with consideration of optimality and computation complexity, demonstrating ability to apply to multiple industries; (2) collaborating with stakeholders from diverse backgrounds, including product, engineering, and operations teams, to research and develop optimization models using advanced techniques such as linear programming, mixed-integer programming, and machine learning. Enhancing supply chain efficiencies, including demand risk planning, distribution planning, warehouse location, and capacity planning using tools like Python, Gurobi, CPLEX, OR-Tools, MOSEK, and AnyLogic; (3) using full data science product lifecycle, from data analysis and model development to deployment and delivery, including web app development with Flask and React; (4) deploying optimization models using container orchestration and Kubernetes environments, with familiarity in the Kubeflow platform; and (5) utilizing the following tools/technologies: Optimization – Stochastic Programming, Simulation, Container Orchestration, Model Deployment, and ETL pipeline.
