Tenet Healthcare is seeking a Financial Systems Technology Analyst.

WORK EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION

  • Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of relevant financial systems experience (e.g., General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Treasury, Fixed Assets and Financial planning systems)
  • Experience working with remote support and development teams and implementing technology and processes to improve the overall systems environment
  • Experience partnering with business leads to prioritize and drive solutions to completion

  • 3+ years of business analyst experience.
  • 1+ years of healthcare experience

  • Excellent management and communication skills
  • Knowledge of and experience with both AS/400, Mainframe systems as well as modern/cloud ERP systems

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Serves as a Subject Matter Expert for Tenet overall accounting and General Ledger System (S2K) including Facilities Database, S2K database, S2K reporting systems, cash management systems and the extensive integrations to/from the ledger system.
  • Serves as point of contact for Financial Planning department and provides expertise to support budget upload process, planning processes and integrations to multiple planning tools.
  • Assists with S2K Data Warehouse enhancement projects: business requirements documentation, UAT testing and training of users if enhancement requires training of any new functionality. Develop enhancement bulletins in advance of migrating a project to production.
  • Provides system training to support user job roles when requests for training come from the facilities, or corporate departments. Schedules and provides system training sessions via Microsoft Teams.
  • Manages S2K/General Ledger process documentation across all modules is consistent with system navigation and workflows. Ensures processes related to closing months, quarters and years are well document and executed in timely fashion
  • Provides approvals for Financials eID and facility requests, security approvals (when delegated, and as needed).
  • Coordinates HCL resources related to S2K Application Management and Application Development teams and any associated upgrades.
  • Leads disaster recovery testing for S2K and related DR Exercises.

Duties:

  • Work closely with both technical and non-technical staff to troubleshoot and assist with resolution of systems issues reported, perform root cause analysis and create preventative processes. 60%
  • Demonstrated ability to gather information from multiple sources, analyze applicability and appropriateness, and develop best practices. 15%
  • Manage help desk tickets, phone calls, emails, etc. 10%
  • Provision appropriate application security roles for end users. 5%
  • Perform integrated testing of current and newly released application functionality. 5%
  • Facilitate meetings with clients in person or via WebEx sessions, e-mail and phone. 5%
