Summary
Leads a team of testers to ensure software quality across various projects, Implements testing strategies, plans, and processes.
Oversees all aspects of software testing while also managing project timelines, resources, and deliverables.
This role requires a blend of test management expertise and project management skills.
Target of validation is to verify the device's compliance with carrier Ethernet standards and its ability to provide reliable, high-performance Ethernet transport services in telecommunications networks.
Responsibilities:
Lead the execution of test plans and test cases.
Team lead Ethernet experts
Estimate testing effort and resource allocation.
Define validation scope, objectives, and deliverables.
Develop and manage project schedules.
Identify and manage risks related to software quality.
Track and report on project and testing progress.
Collaborate with development, product teams & cross-functional teams.
Implement and improve testing and project management processes.
Stay up to date with testing best practices and tools.
Overseeing tests of new optical modules and referencing them in the appropriate supply chains (SCEF or SCF)
Supporting account teams with RFP responses and production/after-sales issues
Have BSc Computer Science or Computer Engineering or Communication Engineering; university degree with +8 years experience.
Experience with Agile Methodologies, Scrum Process, Sprints, and tools, e.g. JIRA, Confluence.
Experience knowledge in routing and IP DATA Networks.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Fluent in French & English in a must.
Good knowledge of automated test suites frameworks such as Selenium, Robot Framework is a plus
Relevant certifications (e.g., ISTQB, PMP, Agile Fundamentals) is a plus
