HDR is consistently ranked by ENR as one of the top Solid Waste Management firms in America. Our growing South Carolina waste market sector is seeking an engineer with project management capabilities to join our nationally ranked team of professionals. This position may be based in HDR’s Greenville, Columbia, or Fort Mill office and will support solid waste clients in the Carolinas and Georgia. You would work on project assignments and marketing efforts related to planning, permitting, design and construction administration / oversight for solid waste related facility projects related to recycling, disposal, or collection. You will be expected to perform engineering functions and complete project tasks and effectively manage multi-discipline project teams (civil, structural, mechanical, electrical), work closely with technical experts, subconsultants, and coordinate with clients in the execution of projects. Engineering functions may include preparing drawings, calculations, and reports. You will also be expected to work with senior staff to market and secure projects from existing and potential clients to achieve booking goals.
