Are you a Quality Assurance Engineer with a solid background in software development and a passion for test automation? If so, we want you to join our international software engineering team at Axpo! As our Test Automation Specialist, you'll help drive quality across our software products by building and maintaining reliable automated test suites and supporting a modern development and release pipeline.

What you will do:

  • Design, develop, and maintain automated tests using tools such as Playwright or Postman
  • Collaborate with Development teams to ensure seamless integration of automated tests into CI/CD pipelines
  • Support security testing and promote secure coding and QA practices
  • Ensure Designers' layouts are rendered perfectly in the client's browser
  • Identify, document, and help resolve bugs and quality issues
  • Create detailed and structured test plans, test cases, and test scripts
  • Advocate for continuous improvement in QA practices, tools, and processes

What you bring & who you are:

  • At least 5 years of experience in software testing and test automation
  • Solid experience in UAT/Functional verification
  • Strong programming skills, preferably in TypeScript or JavaScript
  • Proven experience with test automation tools such as Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, etc.
  • Hands-on experience working with CI/CD tools, preferably Azure DevOps
  • Knowledge of security testing principles and secure coding practices
  • Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and QA best practices
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams
  • A high level of proficiency in English, both written and spoken
  • Familiarity with Agile development environments

You’ll be part of a collaborative QA team that works closely with Developers, DevOps, Infrastructure specialists, UI/UX Designers, and Product Owners. Together, you’ll ensure that our platforms remain high-performing, secure, pixel-perfect, and resilient, always meeting the needs of customers who rely on us to deliver energy solutions every day.
