Located in Waupaca, WI
Salary: $23.00 - $33.00 /HR
Hours:
1st Shift: Monday - Friday, 7:00am - 3:30pm
2nd Shift: Monday - Thursday, 3:00pm - 1:00am OR 2:00pm - Midnight
Pay: $23.00 - $33.00 /HR
Duties:
- Inspect parts during setup, in-process, and final stages to verify compliance with blueprints and GD&T specifications
- Utilize customer-supplied documents to ensure products meet dimensional and tolerance standards
- Identify and communicate non-conformities or discrepancies to relevant departments
- Collect and interpret SPC (Statistical Process Control) data to evaluate process capability
- Maintain QC standards, procedures, and documentation, providing guidance to machine operators when necessary
- Recommend and communicate process improvements to enhance overall quality
- Oversee the upkeep of QC fixtures, gauges, and tooling
- Assist with internal projects, training programs, and attend relevant courses or seminars as needed
- Participate in customer audits and conduct source inspections
- Support resolution of quality concerns and follow up on corrective actions
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a quality-focused role (e.g., Quality Technician, Inspector, SPC Coordinator, or Quality Lead)
- Proficient in:
- Blueprint reading, including GD&T
- Microsoft Office Suite
- SPC data collection and analysis
- Mechanical inspection tools and techniques
- CAD software (preferred)
- Gauge calibration processes
- Strong mathematical and measurement skills
- High attention to detail and a quality-first mindset
- Dependable attendance and strong work ethic
- Self-motivated with a proactive approach to problem-solving
