Description

Acara Solution is looking for a Space Force MUOS TTC Systems Engineer for our client located in Scottsdale, AZ.

  • As a Space Force MUOS Systems Engineering Integration & Test (SEIT) engineer in the Space, Cyber & Intelligence Systems business area, you'll be a member of a cross functional team responsible for defining, developing, testing and sustaining specialized solutions that are used by our warfighters worldwide on patrol in hostile environments, whether urban, canyon, mountains, or jungles - or even the Arctic Circle.

Job Requirements

Required Skills:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Systems Engineering, or Science or Engineering or Mathematics.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in developing and documenting system architectures, behavioral descriptions, and interfaces.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in defining and reviewing system requirements and requirement verification test plans.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in the Design, development, integration, and testing of hardware systems.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience with Integrated telemetry, tracking, and commanding (TT&C) system hardware and software
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Encryption and digital forward error correction.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience with digital and radio frequency (RF) systems and test equipment
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Scripting using Perl, Python, and modern software languages

Preferred Skills:

  • Master's Degree
  • Agile experience.
  • Expertise in applying technical standards and methodologies to solve challenges in creative ways
  • Troubleshooting ground-to-satellite communications
  • Ability to lead the systems engineering integration and test process
  • Collaborative team player eager to provide technical leadership and position others for success
  • Thorough knowledge of technology trends and willingness to champion new ideas and process improvements
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development for yourself and others
