As a Dynamics 365 Project Operations Architect, you will lead the solution design, architecture, and implementation of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Project Operations for enterprise clients. A key focus of this role is guiding clients through migrations from Dynamics 365 Project Service Automation (PSA) to Project Operations, ensuring a smooth transition that supports optimized project delivery, financial management, and resource planning. You will collaborate with stakeholders, consultants, and technical teams to deliver scalable, high-performing solutions.

In this role, you will:

Architecture & Solution Design:

• Architect end-to-end solutions using Dynamics 365 Project Operations, including project planning, time tracking, resource management, and project accounting.
• Translate business requirements into functional and technical designs aligned with Microsoft’s best practices and the Success by Design framework.

Migration Leadership:

• Lead and execute migrations from Dynamics 365 PSA to Project Operations, including assessment, gap analysis, and data migration planning.
• Ensure a clean transition while preserving data integrity and optimizing business processes.

Client Engagement:

• Conduct workshops to assess current systems, gather requirements, and envision future-state solutions.
• Act as a trusted advisor to clients, recommending improvements and leveraging new capabilities in Project Operations.

Governance & Quality Assurance:

• Establish architecture governance, solution standards, and ensure consistency across configurations, integrations, and extensions.
• Participate in solution assurance reviews and ensure alignment with enterprise architecture principles.

Team & Delivery Leadership:

• Provide guidance to consultants, developers, and testers to ensure high-quality solution delivery.
• Support pre-sales activities including scoping, estimating, solutioning, and proposal development.

Who You Are:

• 5+ years of experience implementing Microsoft Dynamics 365, with direct experience in PSA and/or Project Operations.
• At least one full lifecycle migration from Dynamics 365 PSA to Project Operations.
• Strong understanding of project management, professional services automation, and project accounting processes.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse).
• Familiarity with dual-write integration and Dynamics 365 Finance is a strong plus.
• Microsoft certifications such as MB-700 or PL-600 are preferred.

• Ability to lead client conversations and manage complex project dynamics.
• Collaborative, proactive, and client-service oriented.

Travel:

• Occasional travel (10–25%) based on client requirements.
