Description of Position
This position entails scheduling of operative procedures by serving as liaison between patients, residents, and physicians planning to utilize the surgical facilities. Works under the direction of Patient Care Coordinator (PCC), Surgery, and/or the Assistant PCC, Surgery.
Qualifications and Requirements
High school diploma, or equivalent required. Course in medical terminology preferred; knowledge of surgical terminology desired. Previous experience in medical field desired. Course in telephone communication desired; or any combination of education and experience which would provide the necessary knowledge, skills, and abilities to meet the minimum qualifications to perform the essential functions of this position.
Starting Hourly Rate $22.03
