Job Summary:

The IT Operations Oracle Analyst Support will be responsible for maintaining and optimizing Oracle databases and applications, ensuring their smooth operation and performance. This role involves troubleshooting issues, implementing solutions, and providing technical support to end-users.

Key Responsibilities:

Monitor and maintain Oracle databases and applications to ensure optimal performance and availability.

Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues, including performance tuning and query optimization.

Provide technical support and guidance to end-users and other IT staff.

Collaborate with development teams to implement database changes and enhancements.

Develop and maintain documentation for database configurations, procedures, and best practices.

Ensure compliance with security policies and procedures.

Perform regular database maintenance tasks.

Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours support as needed.

Additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Proven experience as an Oracle Database Administrator or Analyst.

Strong knowledge of Oracle database architecture, performance tuning, and backup/recovery processes.

Proficiency in SQL and PL/SQL programming.

Experience with Oracle Enterprise Manager and other monitoring tools.

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications:

Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) certification.

5+ years' experience with Oracle solutions.

Strong knowledge of other database management systems (e.g., MySQL, SQL).
