In this role, you will lead the Launch, Execution, and Adoption (LEA) team, which is responsible for scaling all of Amazon’s Middle Mile fleet infrastructure to support our Class 6 and 8 trucks and 53ft trailer fleet. Specifically, this role will be responsible for leading the team that launches Amazon’s alternative fueling infrastructure (Renewable Natural Gas and Renewable Diesel fueling stations), EV charging, maintenance bays, driver amenities, automated wash bays, trailer snow removal systems, and secured parking locations, including Amazon Transportation Hubs (ATHs), our future network of sites focused exclusively on transportation infrastructure needs. We are looking for strong leaders who can Deliver Results to launch the infrastructure required for Amazon to meet its Climate Pledge goal of achieving net zero carbon by 2040. They should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where delivery time for new physical infrastructure is critical to keep up with the diverse needs of our growing fleets.
We are seeking a dynamic leader with extensive experience in Real Estate acquisitions and complex Construction project management. The ideal candidate brings a proven track record of cross-functional leadership, particularly in coordinating with stakeholders across product management, engineering, operations, and business development teams. This role requires exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to lead discussions at the VP level and above. The successful candidate will thrive in an entrepreneurial environment, combining strategic vision with hands-on execution capabilities while navigating ambiguous, rapidly changing customer environments. They must demonstrate strong vendor management skills, a consultative leadership approach, and the ability to influence and align multiple stakeholders to drive multi-year programs. Working closely with Fleet Partners, Tech Teams, and Executive Leadership, this leader will balance fiscal responsibility with innovative problem-solving to successfully scale our fleet infrastructure network across North America.
