Agropur is looking for an Inventory Control Coordinator to join its team in St-Hubert.

Reporting to the Inventory and Shipping Supervisor, the Inventory Control Coordinator is responsible for site inventory control and several value-added activities. In collaboration with the distribution center team, the plants, the quality team, customer service, and the planning team, the incumbent will rigorously monitor the receiving process, inventory accuracy, and product integrity. The incumbent also serves as a reference for SAP system knowledge.

Additionally, the Inventory Control Coordinator supports the management and supervisory team on a daily basis, ensures optimal execution of distribution and transportation operations, and meets customer service standards. They ensure that distribution and transportation operations align with our capabilities and that operational flow supports our performance indicators.

  • Salary range 003: $61,400 to $76,800 (Base salary will be determined based on your academic background, experience, training, and job-related skills.)

What’s involved in this role:

More specifically, the responsibilities of the Inventory Control Coordinator include:

  • Ensuring inventory accuracy;
  • Executing transactions in the information system;
  • Organizing and following up on various inventory-related activities;
  • Managing inventory in compliance with CFIA quality standards;
  • Monitoring warehouse capacity and taking action when necessary;
  • Ensuring raw materials are always available for operations;
  • Ensuring standards are met;
  • Ensuring product compliance;
  • Acting as a super-user and point of contact for SAP-related issues;
  • Maintaining constant communication between forklift operators, supervisors, and the management team.

What you need to join our team:

  • College diploma or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Operations, or other relevant training;
  • Two (2) years of experience in a similar role;
  • Good knowledge of MS Office suite, more specifically Excel;
  • Knowledge of SAP (an asset);
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in French and English (English is required to work with colleagues from other Canadian provinces).
