JOB SUMMARY:

The Senior Marketing Communications Manager plays a pivotal role in shaping and executing strategic marketing initiatives that support business growth, enhance customer engagement and elevate brand presence. This high-impact role leads content marketing efforts, supports digital engagement initiatives, manages cross-functional projects and plays a central role in collaborating with external agencies to deliver compelling, on-brand communications across all channels.

Working closely with product managers, sales teams, and internal stakeholders, this individual develops compelling content and marketing assets tailored to diverse audiences. This includes technical and promotional materials, digital content, sales tools, and thought leadership pieces that support customer education and brand positioning.

The ideal candidate brings professional experience in both B2B and B2C marketing communications and is a creative, customer-focused self-starter with strong organizational, project management, and problem-solving skills. They are an excellent communicator who thrives in both independent and collaborative team environments, and values cross-functional teamwork in a fast-paced, dynamic setting.

MAJOR JOB RESPONSIBILITIES (not all inclusive)

1. Lead Content Marketing Development | Develop and execute content marketing initiatives in collaboration with the marketing team, product managers, sales team, and technical experts to support business objectives and customer engagement. This includes formats such as blog posts, podcasts, webinars, and videos.

2. Support Digital Engagement | Contribute to digital marketing efforts by creating assets that enhance customer interaction and sales enablement across digital platforms.

3. Develop Marketing Assets | Create a wide range of marketing materials including technical and promotional content, sales tools, digital content, and thought leadership pieces tailored to internal and external audiences.

4. Collaborate with External Partners | Play a key role in supporting relationships with external agencies and creative partners to ensure brand consistency, message alignment, and timely delivery of high-quality materials.

5. Manage Cross-Functional Projects | Lead and coordinate marketing communications projects, ensuring alignment with timelines, budgets, and strategic goals.

6. Support Public Relations Efforts | Identify and develop opportunities for product publicity in trade and digital media to enhance brand visibility.

7. Coordinate Promotional Collateral | Contribute to the development and procurement of branded promotional items that support product and campaign visibility.

8. Champion Team Culture and Innovation | Foster a collaborative team environment, support the integration of AI tools, and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.

QUALIFICATONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, or a related field.
  • 8–10 years of experience in marketing communications or advertising, preferably within a major manufacturer or agency, with a focus on both B2B and B2C audiences.
  • Demonstrated experience executing across digital marketing channels, including email, content marketing, social media, and paid media.
  • Proficiency in marketing analytics and reporting to measure performance and optimize campaigns.
  • Familiarity with tools such as HubSpot (marketing automation), Craft CMS, and Acquia/Widen DAM preferred.
  • Strong organizational, creative thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building abilities, with a proven track record of collaborating across departments and levels.
  • Effective project management skills with the ability to lead complex initiatives and meet tight deadlines.
  • Exceptional written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with Adobe Creative Suite is a plus.
  • Limited travel required.

Competitive Salary, which includes a Geographic Wage Premium, with a general salary range of $111,744.00 to $139,680.00 or higher depending on education and experience.
