Salary – $82,193 – 107,059 pa plus superannuation and leave loading

Your role
You will provide support and assistance to female residents of the Transitional Centre including the provision of clear and accessible channels of communication, counselling, negotiation and assessment services on a range of family, social and legal issues to contribute to the transition from correctional to post-release living
What you’ll do
As part of this role, the successful applicants must be willing to deliver a high level of support and assistance to female residents within the centres including by providing clear and accessible channels of communication, counselling, negotiation and assessment services on a range of family, social and legal issues to contribute to the transition from correctional to post-release living.
Within this role you will be escorting residents to necessary appointments, job interviews, assisting residents find employment, supporting residents in re-developing social and housekeeping skills, maintain strict confidentiality in record keeping relating to admission and discharge of residents, develop professional relationship with the residents and promote an environment of mutual trust, empathy and understanding, assist with the development of case plans and engage with community Stakeholders.
