Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 2 years of experience in program management
- Experience developing and delivering enterprise software.
- Experience with software release management practices, tools, and automation.
- Experience with open source software releases.
- Experience in software development with one or more general purpose programming languages: Java, Python, C/C++.
Preferred qualifications:
- Master's degree in a technical field.
- Experience in defining systems or process requirement with technical knowledge of developing interoperability solutions, data analysis, system operations development.
- Experience with one source code management system (SVN, Perforce).
- Excellent communication skills, and a data-driven problem-solving approach to solving issues.

The Platforms and Devices team encompasses Google's various computing software platforms across environments (desktop, mobile, applications), as well as our first party devices and services that combine the best of Google AI, software, and hardware. Teams across this area research, design, and develop new technologies to make our user's interaction with computing faster and more seamless, building innovative experiences for our users around the world.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage, cross-functional programs from inception to completion. Drive alignment, coordinate dependencies, and ensure timely delivery of projects.
- Define project scope, goals, timelines, and milestones. Manage resources, anticipate and mitigate risks, and drive projects to completion.
- Identify opportunities to optimize development, quality and performance.
- Establish indicators and metrics, collect and analyze data, and use insights to inform decision-making and continuous improvement.
- Build relationships with stakeholders across engineering teams, product management, and other functions. Communicate, influence decisions, and manage expectations.
