A position of an Assistant to Higher Education Officer (aHEO) is available in the Medical Laboratory Sciences (MLS) department within the School of Arts and Sciences. The aHEO position will report directly to the Chair of the department of Medical Laboratory Sciences (MLS).
The Medical Laboratory Sciences (MLS) Program is an undergraduate major in the School of Arts and Sciences. The MLS mission is to educate and train entry level laboratory professionals for a wide range of health-related laboratories in the New York area. MLS graduates work at hospital and private diagnostic labs, academic research laboratories, pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies.
Bachelor’s degree required with experience in administrative work at an academic institution.
Supports projects, initiatives, and activities that impact an academic or administrative department.
