Our Team
You will be a key member of the DataCom & Specialty Solutions team, located in Oplink ZH. This role involves collaboration with both internal and external contacts, including Production Engineers, Supervisors, Product Managers (PM), Research and Development (RD), Warehouse teams, and external customers. Our team is committed to delivering quality and innovative solutions while fostering strong partnerships across departments and with customers.
What You Will Do
- Lead and resolve product non-conformities by organizing resources to provide quality solutions, conduct risk assessments, initiate containment actions, ensure corrective/preventive measures, and verify their effectiveness.
- Improve product shipping quality by controlling "4M1E" factors to eliminate batch quality issues and reduce RMA rates.
- Coordinate resources to address customer complaints, RMAs, and service requests, ensuring customer expectations are met.
- Take ownership of audit activities, including preparation and execution for customer audits.
- Manage product design, development, and mass production transfer projects with a focus on quality assurance.
- Ensure adequacy and effectiveness in product process flows, controls, and corrective actions.
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
- Bachelor’s degree in Optical Communication, Physics, or Electronic Engineering.
- At least 2 years of relevant experience in optical, electrical, or mechanical industries.
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
What Will Put You Ahead (Preferred Qualifications)
- Knowledge of TL9000 or ISO9001 quality standards.
- Familiarity with optical components, subsystems, and manufacturing processes.
- Internal auditor certification for TL9000, ISO9001, or ISO14001.
- Strong understanding of material properties, 8D problem-solving, 5W1H analysis, 7QC tools, and Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA).
- Expertise in Agile/RMA systems.
