NTT Data Greece team is looking for a Cloud Architect in Athens to work with our clients in the European public sector. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing cloud computing architecture. They play a crucial role in helping customers leverage cloud technologies to achieve its goals efficiently and securely.
Your Role:
- Develop, implement, and/or maintain a comprehensive cloud strategy aligned with customer business objectives. This includes selecting appropriate cloud service models (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS) and deployment models (e.g., private, hybrid).
- Design scalable, secure, and highly available cloud architectures. Create blueprints and provide technical leadership for the implementation of cloud solutions.
- Implement Infrastructure as Code principles to automate the provisioning and management of infrastructure resources. Utilise tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Ensure the security of cloud environments by implementing best practices, encryption, identity and access management, and compliance with EC standards and regulations.
- Develop strategies for optimising cloud costs, monitoring resource usage, and recommending cost-effective solutions. This involves selecting the right Financial models and continuously optimising resource allocation.
- Plan and execute the migration of on-premises systems to the cloud. Integrate cloud services with existing infrastructure and IT Systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, system administrators, and other stakeholders, to ensure the successful implementation and operation of cloud solutions.
- Implement monitoring solutions to track the performance and health of cloud services. Optimise configurations for better performance.

Your profile:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proficiency in one or more major cloud platforms such as AWS.
- Strong understanding of cloud architecture principles, microservices, and containerization.
- In-depth knowledge of cloud security best practices, encryption methods, and identity management.
- Experience with automation tools and scripting languages (e.g., Terraform, Ansible, Python) for Infrastructure as Code.
- Understanding of cloud networking concepts, virtual private clouds, and network security.
- Familiarity with DevSecOps methodologies and tools for continuous integration, continuous delivery, and collaboration.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Relevant certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect.
- You are fluent in English (at least B2 Level).
- EU citizenship is required.
- This role may require flexibility, including shift-based work and on-call responsibilities, depending on operational needs.
- The service window for this project is between 9am-10pm, the exact daily shifts will be confirmed later in the process.
