Our growing Amazon Music Quality team in Mexico City is responsible for building frameworks, tools, infrastructure and tests for testing the end to end Visual & Voice experiences of Amazon Music. The team continuously raises the quality bar with customer obsession and work on a complex ecosystem of technology stacks for Android, iOS, Web, Fire TV, Fire Tablet and Alexa Voice.
As the Monetization QAE on FPS team, you will design, implement, and deploy solutions using new or existing technologies that test major portions of ad-serving software across visual and voice clients (e.g., a significant software component, a set of features, an application or services). You will develop, execute and maintain software to test our products. You will improve our team’s automation of test scripts and test strategies. QAEs at Amazon are expected to have industry-leading technical abilities - you should have in-depth knowledge of testing methodologies, solid understanding of computer science principles, as well as knowledge of how to architect software for scalability, reliability and security.
You will be an independent contributor, who works with various stakeholders to improve overall quality of customer’s E2E visual experiences, aligned with product launches of various Amazon Music teams. You will continuously increase the ratio of automation to manual tests and update regression test suite that can quickly and reliably detect regression defects for each release. You will improve existing test frameworks or develop new ones that increase the quality and overall team velocity. You will evangelize best practices and insist on high quality standards from inception to deployment of every software launch or experiment dial-up.
