About Fort Buford State Historic Site and Missouri-Yellowstone Confluence Interpretive Center (MYCIC): Fort Buford State Historic Site and the Missouri-Yellowstone Confluence Interpretive Center (MYCIC) are located near the confluence of the Missouri and Yellowstone Rivers. Built at the confluence, the rotunda of the MYCIC offers two exhibit galleries, a meeting room, and trails to explore. Fort Buford consists of three restored original buildings and a reconstructed Barracks.
