ManTech seeks motivated, career and customer-oriented Senior Agile Project Manager to join our team in Chantilly, VA.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Manages all aspects of a diverse IT project or multiple IT projects, typically involving multiple disciplines in the IT function
- Develops and manages project plans, schedules, and timelines, ensuring adherence to Agile principles.
- Facilitates Agile ceremonies (e.g., daily stand-ups), removes impediments, and mentors team members.
- Communicates project progress, manages expectations, and collaborates with stakeholders to define requirements and address changes.
- Promotes continuous improvement, identifies and mitigates risks, and ensures project teams follow Agile best practices.
- Maintains project documentation, tracks progress, and provides status reports to stakeholders.
- Manages changes to the project scope and timeline, adapting to evolving requirements and priorities.
- Serves as a facilitator for team collaboration, conflict resolution, and decision-making processes.
- Works closely with Product Owners, Business Partners, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment and deliver value.
- Utilizes expertise and leadership skills to direct staff and to resolve issues to ensure project goals and requirements are met
- Employ scrum master techniques in Agile development practices
- Uses best practices and knowledge of internal or external business issues to improve products or services
- Works independently, receives minimal guidance
- Explains complex, difficult and/or sensitive information
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree and 4+ years Project Management experience; an additional 4 years of related experience can be substituted in lieu of a degree
- Understanding of Agile concepts and ceremonies
- Understanding of PMI-based project management
- Experience in writing documentation and reports for various audiences
- Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio), Microsoft SharePoint, Microsoft Outlook, Google Chrome, Internet Explorer
- PMP Certification or equivalent Project Management Certification or ability to obtain within 12 months of hire
- Scrum Master Certification or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in working with engineers and can relay technical information to stakeholders
- Experience with ServiceNow
- Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
- Experience with ITIL with certification
Clearance Requirements:
- US Citizenship required and active TS clearance adjudicated within the last 6 years.
- Candidate must be open to Poly if selected by the customer
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%.
- Frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations; must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
