Job Summary:
Geisinger's Heart & Vascular Institute is seeking a full-time Thoracic Surgery Physician Assistant or nurse practitioner to join the team at Geisinger Medical Center in Danville, Pennsylvania.
Job Duties:
This position consists of Monday - Friday outpatient clinic, 2 - 3 days per week in the OR based on the OR rotation and daily inpatient rounding. Call is not mandatory with this role, but there will be opportunity for weekend rounding.
The surgery team is strongly supported by an equally distinguished Heart & Vascular team. Experienced physician assistants, nurse practitioners and excellent facilities make for an efficient, pleasant work environment.
The successful Physician Assistant must be a graduate of a ARC-approved physician assistant program, eligible or certified by the National Commission for the Certification of Physician Assistants and eligible or certified by the State Board of Medicine.
