Job Description

About the Role:

Manage overall plant quality, driving continuous improvement initiatives to ensure superior customer experience in key areas of service, quality, and operational excellence.

Lead the implementation of best operational practices and cost efficiencies while maintaining essential quality standards and optimizing raw material utilization to achieve customer satisfaction and plant profitability.

Provide leadership and direction to the plant quality team to ensure alignment with business goals and compliance with quality management systems.

Key Responsibilities may include:

  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives targeting key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure that plant quality control meets or exceeds targets.
  • Lead, organize, and report on group projects focused on enhancing quality systems and implementing continuous process improvements.
  • Supervise, mentor, and coach quality department employees, addressing employee relations issues, and fostering a collaborative work environment.
  • Partner with the Plant Manager to provide leadership in recruiting, training, developing, and evaluating the quality team to ensure effective execution of responsibilities.
  • Ensure consistent execution of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) across the plant in compliance with the Quality Management System (QMS) and other relevant standards.
  • Support cost and yield performance by overseeing quality-related aspects of the plant, in consultation with the Plant Manager, and contribute to the plant's overall profitability.
  • Collaborate with Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) teams to promote and drive safety improvements across the plant, supporting the Zero Harm initiative.
