The Princeton Social Neuroscience Lab (psnlab.princeton.edu/) seeks a full-time Research Specialist I or II to begin Summer/Fall 2025. The lab uses functional neuroimaging, behavioral techniques, and machine learning to study conversation, social cognition, and spontaneous thought.
This is a one-year term position with the possibility (and expectation) of renewal for a second year. As Princeton University is not an E-verified institution, OPT STEM extension for a second year or more is not eligible.
The successful candidate will assist with all aspects of research, including (1) developing materials and programming experiments, (2) recruiting and testing human subjects, (3) analyzing behavioral, web scraped, and fMRI data, and (4) miscellaneous research support (e.g., literature searches, IRB management, manuscript and grant preparation, general lab duties).
Review of applications will begin immediately and continue on a rolling basis. Apply with your CV, a cover letter highlighting relevant skills and experience, and list of 2-3 references with their contact information.
Princeton University is an Equal Opportunity and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to age, race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, disability status, protected veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law.
