Job Title: Senior RPG Developer

Location: Tulsa, OK (Hybrid – Onsite Tuesdays & Thursdays)

Employment Type: Direct Hire ** MUST BE AUTHORIZED TO WORK IN THE UNITED STATES NOW AND IN THE FUTURE WITHOUT ASSISTANCE

Compensation: Up to $115K base + profit sharing + performance bonus

We’re partnering with a stable, growth-focused organization in Tulsa, OK to hire a Senior RPG Developer. This role offers the opportunity to support and enhance a critical policy administration system, combining new development with ongoing system maintenance in a collaborative team environment.

What You'll Do:

  • Maintain and develop RPG applications with DB2 in an IBM iSeries environment
  • Work closely with business analysts to understand requirements and translate them into high-quality code
  • Participate in design reviews, unit testing, and code validation
  • Provide input on system improvements and coding best practices
  • Support an on-call rotation and contribute to month-end maintenance

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Senior-level experience in RPG programming
  • Strong knowledge of RPG DB2
  • Familiarity with Aldon or other change management systems
  • SQL experience is a plus
  • Ability to communicate clearly and collaborate across teams
  • Comfortable in a hybrid work model and fast-paced development environment

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with Profound Logic, ServiceNow, or IBM Rational Developer
  • Background in insurance or financial systems
  • Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field (or equivalent experience)
