We are looking for experienced Resident Engineer with experience with Marine Works / Port Infrastructure and in particular repair and upgrading works Operating terminals.

The successful applicants for this role will be adept at the following:

• Managing and supporting the site resident engineer team consisting of engineers, inspectors and support staff.
• Administrating construction contract forms similar to FIDIC and undertaking the role of Engineer as implied in FIDIC Contracts.
• Marine or multi-disciplinary projects where the skills can be transferred.
• Managing construction contracts involving repair and quantity fluctuation, assessing contractors works proposals, piling, concrete works, extensive coordination within an operating environment.
• Ensure proper interpretation of the contract and provide technical information to the workers and other professionals assigned in the project.

Qualifications, Skills or Experience:

• Professional Engineer.
• At least 15 years' of working experience in the related field is required for this position as Resident Engineer.
• Knowledge of the requirements of the Philippine authorities for construction works and permits is an advantage.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Collaborative skills, independence, resourcefulness, resilience, initiative, and positive attitude towards work and colleagues.

Applicants must have the right to work in the Philippines.

This position is also open to expatriates with experience in the Philippines, under an international local hire arrangement.
