About the role

We develop and maintain a self-service web portal that allows both individual and business users to manage car insurance policies, file claims, review payments, and much more. Our primary client base is in Sweden.

Our team is composed of professionals working with agile methodologies. You’ll be part of a distributed team mainly based in Gothenburg, Stockholm, and Riga, collaborating daily with other development teams from the Baltics and Scandinavia. Together, we deliver meaningful solutions for real customer needs.

What are you going to do?

You’ll contribute to the development and maintenance of our full-stack platform built on C#, .NET, ASP.NET MVC, and Optimizely CMS, hosted entirely in the Azure Cloud (PaaS). Our DevOps practices are built around Azure DevOps with established CI/CD pipelines.

As a full-stack developer, you’ll:

  • Build and integrate new features into our self-service portal
  • Manage system integrations with both internal and third-party services
  • Collaborate with a wide range of roles – developers, testers, designers, analysts, product owners, and stakeholders
  • Participate in agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement
  • Share your knowledge while learning from others in the team
  • Occasionally travel between Latvia and Sweden

What do we expect from you?

  • 3+ years of experience in professional software development (mid to senior level)
  • Strong full-stack development skills, particularly with .NET technologies
  • Hands-on experience with REST and SOAP integrations
  • Proficiency with Git, including pull requests and code reviews
  • Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, and front-end fundamentals
  • Experience with SQL Server and Entity Framework (or similar ORM tools)
  • Familiarity with Azure Cloud (PaaS), Azure DevOps
  • Analytical mindset and excellent debugging/problem-solving capabilities
  • Enthusiasm for agile development and a proactive team player attitude
  • Confidence in mentoring others and helping team members grow
  • Day-to-day responsibilities require a good/excellent level of English to communicate with clients and colleagues other countries

Nice to have:

  • Experience with Optimizely CMS
  • Familiarity with GitHub Copilot or similar AI development assistants
  • A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in IT, or closely related field
