General Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Engineer, Sr Staff-Principal/Manager to join our Secure Systems Group. The ideal candidate will lead a team of engineers in designing, developing, and implementing secure systems and solutions. This role requires a deep understanding of security principles, excellent leadership skills, and a passion for innovation. In this position, you will work with a team of multi-disciplined professionals to develop and optimize systems, tools and methods for QTI security solutions. The position will require you to work on multiple layers of the software stack, including user space and kernel space in different operating environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage a team of engineers in the development of secure systems and solutions.
• Design and implement security architectures and frameworks to protect sensitive data and systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure security is integrated into all aspects of the development lifecycle.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest security trends, technologies, and best practices.
• Mentor and guide team members to foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders to provide updates on security initiatives and projects.

Preferred skills:

• Strong C/C++ programming skills required, with an emphasis on secure programming best practices
• Strong knowledge of ARM Trustzone and virtualization architecture.
• Strong knowledge of computer security and cryptography including encryption, signature, authentication, hash functions, cryptographic protocols, certification.
• Strong understanding of operating system concepts such as tasks, signals, timers, priorities, deadlocks, stacks, memory management, etc.
• Strong understanding of a broad range of topics from security systems, secure boot, secure UI, trusted application and access control.
• Experience with Linux/Android and TEE software.
• Experience with use of cryptography and secure protocols on ARM mobile devices.
• Debugging skills and experience with Linux/Android debug tools and JTAG.
• Prior Qualcomm MSM and AMSS development experience is a plus
• Desirable: RISC-V architecture and software development experience
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and strategically.
• Proven experience in a leadership role within a security-focused engineering team with excellent people skills and used to operating in networked and virtual team environments. Natural self-starter, self-motivated, independent and resourceful problem solver.
• Outstanding oral and written communication skills capable of presenting persuasively to all levels of the organization in an articulate and succinct manner. Active listening ability.
• Strong ability to establish relationships to build credibility and influence at all levels of the organization in appropriate manners.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 6+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience.

OR

Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 5+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience.

OR

PhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 4+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience.

• 3+ years of work experience with Programming Language such as C, C++, Java, Python, etc.
