Purpose of Role: The successful candidate will have a combination of working knowledge in electrical, mechanical, welding, pneumatics/hydraulics knowledge a plus, and demonstrate an experienced mechanical aptitude and willingness to work in multiple departments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Under limited supervision and with minimal technical guidance, keep plant equipment in good mechanical repair
  • Strong welding skills and experience required, 95% Stick weld out of position
  • Be able to troubleshoot and repair a variety of equipment
  • Must be able to follow written and verbal instructions with accuracy
  • Perform preventative maintenance on multiple types of equipment
  • Perform routine troubleshooting activities

Job Knowledge/Education and Qualifications:

  • Any equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered for candidates that have the ability to perform the objectives above.
  • Previous experience in an industrial environment maintaining mechanical equipment
  • Must have welding experience, out of position (confined spaces, overhead welding etc.)
