Description

We are seeking a visionary and experienced Principal Product Manager to own and drive the strategy for a new generation of embedded AI productivity tools for our internal workforce. In this high-impact role, you will be responsible for identifying opportunities, defining the product vision, and delivering innovative AI-powered solutions that integrate seamlessly into our employees' daily workflows, enhancing efficiency, collaboration, and overall job satisfaction. You will work at the intersection of cutting-edge AI technology, user-centric design, and internal business processes, directly contributing to Oracle's operational excellence.

We aim to empower every Oracle employee with intelligent tools that anticipate their needs, automate mundane tasks, and unlock new levels of productivity and innovation. We are building a suite of embedded AI features and services that will be deeply integrated into the platforms our employees use every day, making work simpler, faster, and more impactful. You will work with a diverse set of stakeholders including senior executives, architects, development teams, and external partners to take ideas, turn them into mature products, and put them in the hands of Oracle’s employee population.

The successful candidate will have a passion for solving difficult problems in a collaborative, agile work environment, a knack for creativity and innovative thinking, and a strong sense of empathy for both customers and engineering teams. The successful candidate will also have superior executive communication skills and ability to drive outcomes across multiple lines of business.

Responsibilities

Vision and Strategy: Define and champion a compelling product vision and strategy tailored to Oracle's internal employee needs. Develop and maintain a multi-year roadmap aligned with company objectives and emerging AI capabilities.

Internal Needs Analysis & Requirements Gathering: Act as the voice of the internal customer (our employees). Conduct in-depth research, interviews, and workshops with stakeholders across various departments (e.g., Sales, HR, Engineering, Marketing, Finance) to understand their workflows, pain points, and opportunities for AI-driven enhancements.

Product Definition & Prioritization: Translate complex internal needs and AI possibilities into clear, concise product requirements, user stories, and functional specifications. Develop and manage a prioritized backlog, making data-driven trade-offs.

AI Feature Design & Integration: Collaborate closely with UX designers, AI researchers, and engineering teams to design intuitive and effective AI-powered features. Define how these AI tools will be embedded within existing enterprise applications and employee platforms (e.g., CRM, Intranet, communication tools, HR systems).

Cross-Functional Leadership: Lead and inspire cross-functional teams (engineering, design, data science, change management, internal communications) to deliver high-quality AI solutions. Foster a collaborative and agile working environment.

Stakeholder Management & Executive Communication: Engage with and influence stakeholders at all levels, including senior executives, to gain buy-in, provide updates, and drive alignment on the internal AI product strategy.

Adoption, Training & Change Management: Partner with internal communications and training teams to develop and execute strategies for driving awareness, adoption, and effective utilization of new AI tools. Create documentation and resources to support employees.

Ethical AI & Governance: Champion responsible AI practices. Ensure fairness, transparency, privacy, and security are central to the design, development, and deployment of internal AI tools, adhering to Oracle's AI ethics guidelines.

Performance Measurement & Iteration: Define key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the impact of AI tools on employee productivity, satisfaction, and efficiency. Continuously monitor performance, gather feedback, and iterate on solutions.

Industry & Technology Monitoring: Stay at the forefront of AI advancements, particularly in generative AI, NLP, machine learning, and their applications in enterprise productivity. Identify emerging trends and technologies that can be leveraged for internal benefit.

Range and benefit information provided in this posting are specific to the stated locations only

US: Hiring Range in USD from: $92,900 to $199,500 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.

Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.

Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

8. Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. Accrued Vacation is provided to all other employees eligible for vacation benefits. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.

10. Paid sick leave: 72 hours of paid sick leave upon date of hire. Refreshes each calendar year. Unused balance will carry over each year up to a maximum cap of 112 hours.
