Your role

We’re looking for a Bigdata Solution Architect who can help us in following :

• drive bigdata Enterprise architecture, standards and guidelines for a globally deployed software solution
• Support product management driving the product roadmap
• ensure robust and sustainable technical solutions that meet business requirements with consideration of user experience and ensure alignment to the organizational guidelines, principles, standards and processes.
• work closely with and advise Business Analysts, Testers and Management on technical matters
• work independently on Design Reviews and approvals from Global Architects
• work closely with Development Lead to deliver IT solutions
• know how to fully exploit the potential of our Spark cluster
• how to clean, transform, and analyze vast amounts of raw data from various systems using Spark Framework
• proficient in Scala

Your team

Our team is working in Group Compliance, Regulatory & Governance IT team based in Pune, India. Our role is to design and implement IT solutions for global Regulatory Reporting requirements (Major shareholding disclosures, Short Selling disclosures, 13F reporting, Conflict clearance … etc). We are a global IT team supporting internal clients throughout the world.

Your expertise

• experience in designing Bidata based cloud solutions
• delivering robust design solutions
• have experience in optimizing performance of big data jobs
• creation of Architecutre documents, Representing Architecutre forums & Design approvals
• experience of hands-on work on these skills:
• apache Spark 3.x
• apache Spark RDD API
• apache Spark SQL DataFrame API
• apache Spark Streaming API
• spark query tuning and performance optimization
• SQL database integration Oracle, Postgres, and/or MySQL
• experience working with NoSql, DataBricks
• well versed with working on Azure cloud platform.
• design, plan and deliver solutions in a large scale enterprise environment
• have a financial services IT background, preferably in the Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) space
• computer science academic background (bachelor or master degree)
• have excellent communication skills, written and oral in English
• minimum 9 years of relevant experience
