Join our newly established IT Department at Infineon Technologies' Budapest office, a key hub for our global competence center in cloud infrastructure, integration, and security. We are seeking a motivated and experienced NLP and AI professional to join our dynamic team and work on cutting-edge technology in a global acting company.

As an AI Engineer you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying NLP models and solutions that meet the needs of our business. You will work closely with our team to identify and prioritize project requirements, and collaborate with stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes.

In your new role you will:

• Work as a technical expert with extensive knowledge in NLP, specializing in Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG), Chatbots, and Agentic Systems
• Transform prototypes into production solutions with best practices for both development and deployment
• Support the operation of the solutions, involving troubleshooting and bug fixing, as well as implementing change requests to ensure that the solutions continue to meet user requirements

You are a motivated and experienced NLP and AI professional with a strong passion for working on cutting-edge technology. You have excellent problem-solving skills and are able to think critically and solve complex problems. You are a team player with excellent communication skills and are able to work effectively in a global team.

You are best equipped for this task if you have:

• A degree (Bachelor/Master) in Information Technology or equivalent
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience in NLP/AIML, and MLOps, including at least 1 year focusing on Large Language Models (LLMs)
• Hands-on work experience in the field of LLMs / Generative AI, Chatbots, RAG, or AI Agents. This includes conceptualizing, designing, and implementing AI solutions powered by LLMs
• Extensive experience in Software Engineering & Development cycles (CI/CD) with proficiency in scripting languages, particularly Python
• Good understanding and experience with public cloud platforms (AWS, Microsoft Azure) is beneficial, particularly in the areas of RAG, agents, and chatbots
• Good understanding and experience of Kubernetes / OpenShift Platform
• Fluent in English and Hungarian languages
