The Manager, Coding & Data Management will provide management, coordination, and oversight of all aspects related to outpatient coding, and third-party audits.
Other duties as assigned.
Shift Type: Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Flexibility for Alternative Schedules: Yes
Bachelor of Science in Health Information Management or other related health field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities can be acquired.
Five (5) years of related experience.
Three (3) years of supervisory experience in a directly related health care environment.
Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA), Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT), or Certified Coding Specialist (CCS) certification by AHIMA, or Certified Professional Coder (CPC) certification by the American Academy of Professional Coders (AAPC) within one (1) year as a condition of continued employment in this job classification
In-depth experience with and thorough knowledge of ICD-10 and CPT coding, including assignment of MS-DRGs.
Niche Professional Interests: Experience with -Cerner, Optum CAC, Athena IDX, Microsoft Teams, Experian, knowledge of WPS
Hiring Range: $78,520 - $127,962
