We are currently seeking a Mgr - Global Distribution to join our Global Distribution team based in our New York, New York headquarters.

JOB SUMMARY

This role is integral to the development and execution of sales and global distribution strategies aimed at driving incremental revenue through the distribution of AMCN’s content and digital platforms with key media partners in the SVOD, FAST, AVOD and TVOD spaces.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support the Global Distribution team in the development and implementation of sales distribution strategies for partner accounts, including securing sales materials, compiling research insights, maintaining account summaries, preparing the team for partner negotiations, and providing feedback to proposals. Partner accounts span the SVOD, FAST, AVOD and TVOD markets
  • Develop strong working relationships with internal departments including Partner Management, Content, Legal, Ad Sales, Finance/Strategy, Marketing, Product, Accounting, and Operations, as well as understanding the existing contracts, industry trends and partner-specific data
  • Coordinate and assist in the overall tracking of partner performance and analysis for key accounts
  • Support negotiations through ownership of deal modeling and analysis
  • Develop and manage strong working relationships with assigned distribution partners and represent the account-specific strategy to key stakeholders both internally and externally

Monitor, track, and communicate industry developments, including:

  • Announcements of new deals with industry peers and programmers
  • Product developments and technological innovations among video streaming outlets (e.g. Amazon, Apple, Roku, Samsung, and others)
  • New device innovations (e.g. CTV, mobile, gaming consoles, and others)
  • Other relevant industry news

QUALIFICATIONS (Required & Preferred)

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 5-7 years of relevant work experience with 2-4 years in distribution
  • Proven experience in deal-making and building partnerships in the US and internationally
  • Account management experience, including the ability to manage to key performance metrics
  • Broad knowledge of the media industry, streaming platforms, company organization, policies, and practices
  • Excellent knowledge, with proven experience, of Microsoft Office applications
  • Strong oral and written communication skills with ability to interact with all levels of management and with clients
  • Well-organized and detail oriented
  • Responsive to internal and external stakeholders, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, ever-evolving environment
  • Ability to maintain highest degree of confidentiality and diplomacy

The base compensation range for this position is $90,000 to $115,000 commensurate with experience.
