Job description
We are currently hiring for a Horizontal Boring Mill Machinist for a shop in Hamilton!
Our client is a custom machining shop in Hamilton specializing in precision machining services.
We are seeking a skilled Horizontal boring Mill Machinist to join our clients team. The ideal candidate will have experience operating and programming CNC horizontal boring mills to produce precision parts.
Wage: $28.00 per hour
Shifts: Monday to Friday 7:00am to 3:30pm
Job Details & Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate CNC horizontal boring mills to machine parts according to blueprints and specifications
- Program CNC machines using G code and other programming languages
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting
- Inspect finished parts to ensure they meet quality standards
- Collaborate with team members to optimize machining processes and improve efficiency
Skills & Experience:
- Proven experience as a CNC Machinist, specifically with horizontal boring mills
- Proficiency in programming and operation
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Strong attention to detail and quality control
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $28.00 per hour
