What you will do

Using advanced, broad-based finance, accounting and business knowledge, performs complex analyses to support and measure enterprise results and effectively manages financial planning projects and resources to ensure project success. Owns all aspects of Financial Planning and Analysis for Free Cash Flow to ensure delivery of organizational expectations for Building Solutions North America (BSNA). Works with independence, interacts regularly with business unit and corporate management to consolidate and analyze monthly outlooks, forecasts and plans, analyze monthly financial results and establish & measure key financial targets. Prepares written/graphical financial information to support executive communications to corporate, investor relations, board of directors, etc.

How you will do it

• Owns all Business Planning processes designed to improve on Free Cash Flow performance
• Prepares, analyzes and reviews quarterly rolling forecasts, annual profit plans, three year financial plans and five year strategic plans for the consolidated corporation. Analyzes and reviews actual monthly financial performance and prepares periodic financial outlooks.
• Instinctively recognizes inconsistencies in financial data and initiates and manages the appropriate corrective action.
• Acts in a consulting role with department leaders, demonstrates understanding of the financial analysis process and applies that knowledge to developing cost effective analyses and recommendations and supporting the budgeting process.
• Maintains dialog with executive management and business unit financial personnel to identify and evaluate evolving business issues.
• Manages ad-hoc analyses on an independent basis, assuming responsibility for the quality and effectiveness of the studies/analyses.

What we look for

• Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent) in Accounting or Finance with MBA or CPA preferred.
• Progressive level of responsibility and a minimum of 6 years of rich experience in Finance and/or Accounting.
• Excellent communication skills, including significant experience presenting to senior management.
• Strong interpersonal skills including the ability to influence across the organization.
• Should have ability to listen effectively, evaluate the most critical elements being communicated and communicate with team and Associate Director on an open and timely basis.
• Sound analytical depth and strong accounting skills.
• Solid project management and business consultant skills.
• Working knowledge of Excel/Power Point/Word is essential.
