Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Infra. Technology Specialist with 7 to 11 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills in MS SQL Server Azure and SQL. This role involves working in a hybrid model with day shifts and no travel requirements. The candidate will play a crucial role in managing and optimizing our infrastructure to ensure seamless operations and contribute to the companys success.
Responsibilities
Manage and maintain MS SQL Server databases to ensure high availability and performance.
Oversee the deployment and configuration of Azure infrastructure to support business applications.
Provide technical support and troubleshooting for SQL-related issues to minimize downtime.
Implement and monitor database security measures to protect sensitive data.
Develop and optimize SQL queries and stored procedures to enhance application performance.
Collaborate with development teams to design and implement database solutions that meet business requirements.
Perform regular database backups and recovery procedures to ensure data integrity.
Monitor and analyze system performance metrics to identify and resolve potential issues.
Lead efforts to automate routine database maintenance tasks to improve efficiency.
Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices for database management.
Participate in capacity planning and scaling of database infrastructure to support business growth.
Provide training and guidance to junior team members on database management best practices.
Stay updated with the latest advancements in database technologies and recommend improvements.
Qualifications
Possess strong experience in managing and maintaining MS SQL Server databases.
Have in-depth knowledge of Azure infrastructure and its deployment.
Demonstrate expertise in writing and optimizing SQL queries and stored procedures.
Show proficiency in troubleshooting and resolving SQL-related issues.
Exhibit strong understanding of database security measures and best practices.
Have experience in performing database backups and recovery procedures.
