Position Description:
Performs database development using Amazon Web Services (AWS) relational database technologies (Aurora, RDS, and DMS). Writes clean, testable, readable, and easily maintainable code, in an Agile environment, using SQL, PL/SQL, and Oracle. Develops and extends applications that can derive insights to augment functionalities or business processes using Machine Learning (ML) technologies. Explores Proof of Concepts (POCs) to utilize ML or Large Language Models (LLMs) for various business use-cases. Provides business solutions by developing complex or multiple software applications.

Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree (or foreign education equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, Mathematics, Physics, or a closely related field and three (3) years of experience as a Senior Software Engineer/Developer (or closely related occupation) designing and developing on-prem or cloud AWS applications and reports using Oracle PL/SQL and RDBMS in a financial services environment.
Or, alternatively, Master’s degree (or foreign education equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, Mathematics, Physics, or a closely related field and one (1) year of experience as a Senior Software Engineer/Developer (or closely related occupation) designing and developing on-prem or cloud AWS applications and reports using Oracle PL/SQL and RDBMS in a financial services environment.
