YouTube Data Science (YTDS) is a 100+ analyst team that is part of the YouTube engineering organization, and works very closely with engineering, product and executive leadership towards making better data-driven decisions to improve YouTube. Examples of YTDS projects can be found at: go/ytds-archive. Within YTDS, Emerging Experiences and Community (go/emco) builds new experiences that are at the intersection of creation and consumption. Through our work on YouTube’s new and emerging consumer experiences, we empower both our viewers and creators to engage more deeply with one another, building and fostering communities.
As a Data Scientist, you will evaluate and improve Google's products. You will collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team of engineers and analysts on a wide range of problems. This position will bring scientific execllence and statistical methods to the challenges of product creation, development and improvement with an appreciation for the behaviors of the end user.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $197,000-$291,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
