We're looking for a highly skilled and experienced engineer to troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and configuration issues on our network infrastructure.

Job description

We're seeking a talented and experienced Network Support Engineer to join our team and provide on-site technical support for our colleagues at our Cegléd site. As a Network Support Engineer, you will be responsible for resolving incident tickets, implementing basic network configurations, and providing and maintaining documentation. You will work closely with our local team to ensure seamless network operations and provide expert support for our network infrastructure.

In your new role you will:

• Provide on-site technical support for our colleagues at our Cegléd site
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and configuration issues on network infrastructure for LAN, WLAN, WAN, dot1x, and Firewalls
• Resolve incident tickets and change requests, including on-call support
• Implement basic network configurations based on templates
• Mount and dismount network equipment
• Provide and maintain documentation and asset management
• Liaise with application groups on various projects and system support requirements
• Participate in projects and new setups, such as site expansion projects, and define and provision network design for active and passive network infrastructure
• Work in a team with local experts and interact with global members

Your Profile

You are a highly motivated and organized individual with a strong passion for network technology and IT. You have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and are able to work effectively with colleagues and stakeholders. You are a team player with a positive attitude and a willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes.

You are best equipped for this task if you have:

• A degree in Information Technology or Computer Engineering, or vocational training with equivalent working experience
• Several years of work experience in a related field
• Knowledge of Network and IT Standards, concepts, and technology
• CCNA or CCNP Certification is a plus
• Very good communication skills in Hungarian and good communication skills in English
