PSYCHOLOGICAL & BRAIN SCIENCES (BL-PSY-IUBLA)
The Navigating Intergroup Contexts and Emotions (NICE) Lab (Principal Investigator (PI): Dr. Dorainne Green) and the interACT Lab (PI: Dr. Natasha Chaku) are recruiting a full-time joint Laboratory Manager within the Department of Psychological and Brain Sciences at Indiana University (IU) Bloomington.
Candidates interested in youth development, psychophysiology, (e.g., cortisol, sleep, puberty) and/or diversity, inequality, and intergroup relations are particularly encouraged to apply. Methodologies currently employed across both labs include self-reports, cognitive testing, behavioral tasks, biological sample collection, and daily diary or ecological momentary assessment (EMA).

The role regularly requires the ability to effectively communicate. The role frequently requires the ability to move about the work environment and to position oneself to operate laboratory equipment effectively. The role requires the ability to move objects weighing up to 25 pounds and will occasionally work near moving mechanical parts. The person in this role must be able to perform the essential functions with or without an accommodation.
This position is grant-funded and will be supported for the duration of the grant's life cycle or until the allocated funding has been fully expended.
The person in this position will gain substantial research experience (e.g., authorship on posters and manuscripts, conference travel) and mentorship across social and developmental research labs. Thus, this position would be ideal for individuals motivated to pursue graduate studies in Psychology.
