Make your mark for patients

We are looking for a Head of Maintenance Infrastructure who is strategic, results-driven, and collaborative to join us in our campus of Braine-l’Alleud, Belgium.

About the Role

As Head of Maintenance Infrastructure, you will be responsible for managing and optimizing infrastructure maintenance across UCB’s Belgian sites (Braine and Anderlecht). You will coordinate technical, budgetary, and regulatory activities related to buildings, fire systems, lifts, doors, and subcontractor areas.

Who You Will Work With

You will work within a dynamic team in close collaboration with Engineering, HSE, Facilities, PMO, and key users. You will also liaise with external partners to ensure infrastructure performance, safety, and compliance.

What You Will Do

• You lead infrastructure maintenance strategy across all Belgian sites.
• You manage OPEX/CAPEX budgets and anticipate future needs.
• You coordinate subcontractors and evaluate their performance.
• You develop asset and request management processes.
• You ensure HSE and GMP compliance in maintenance activities.
• You manage and develop the BelTech Infrastructure team.

Interested? For this role, we are looking for the following education, experience, and skills

• Master’s degree in engineering or technical field.
• Minimum 2 years in a regulated industry (chemical, pharma).
• 5+ years of managerial experience in a technical environment.
• Proficiency in SAP PM, MS Office, MS Project.
• Expertise in cGMP and HSE standards.
• Fluent in French and English, Dutch or German is a plus.
