JOB SUMMARY:

The Parkour/Multisport Program Supervisor will oversee, continually develop, grow and manage the Multisport and Parkour Programs at Woodward West. Coordinate all aspects of the Parkour and Multisport Programs including staff, daily responsibilities, and develop a fun, interactive environment for campers. The Parkour/Multisport Supervisor will help support the overall relationships and developments with brands within the industry.

This position will be responsible for the day-to-day operations involved in running the Parkour/Multisport Programs. This includes all scheduling, facilitating mandatory sessions, clinics, sport events, recreational events, and supervising all staff within the programs. The Parkour/Multisport Supervisor will aid with parent-camper communications as needed.

  • Pay: $20.00 an hour
  • This position is classified under California's Camp Counselor exemption (LAB 118.4 and Wage Order 5). Employees are paid a weekly salary of 85% of their hourly rate for hours worked between 40- 54 hours per week or will be paid at 85% of their hourly rate for each hour worked if the employee works less than 40 hours per week. Any hours worked over 54 will be paid at overtime rates, in accordance with California labor law.
  • All other applicable deductions will be applied

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE/SPECIAL SKILLS:

  • Preferred experience in leadership
  • Preferred 3+ years of experience working with kids and/or teens.
  • Experience working in a camp environment is preferred.
  • Some college preferred
  • Experience in action sports coaching required
  • Health and Safety Certifications
