We are seeking a Training and Instructional Design Facilitator to support the mission of Florida’s Institute for Professional Development for Adult Educators (IPDAE). In this dynamic role, you’ll coordinate statewide professional development and help create and share innovative resources for adult educators across Florida. JOB SUMMARY:
Under administrative supervision, this position supervises the IPDAE training facilitators and oversees the planning and implementation of resource development and coordination. Duties include: representing and promoting IPDAE through trainings and presentations at the local and state level; coordinating events throughout all 67 counties in Florida to ensure equal access and equal support in successfully using these innovative instructional strategies and resources; facilitating direct interaction and providing technical support to adult educators via emails, calls, help desk inquiries, and virtual learning communities; training and supervising IPDAE training facilitators; and supporting the daily operations and interactions of IPDAE.
SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
This position classifies the physical exertion requirements as sedentary work involving lifting no more than 10 pounds at a time and occasionally lifting or carrying articles like docket files, ledgers, and small tools. Although a sedentary job is defined as one which involves sitting, a certain amount of walking and standing is often necessary in carrying out job duties. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required occasionally, and other sedentary criteria are met.
