The Opportunity

  • Reporting to the VP, Corporate Consolidations and Reporting, you will report externally and internally the consolidated results of the Company, improve corporate accounting. You will also provide technical accounting guidance and administer and keeping current the accounting policies of QVC Group.
  • You will be hybrid-remote (4-6 times a month in our West Chester, PA office).

Your Impact

  • Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial consolidation processes, ensuring accuracy and agreement on GAAP accounting standards and SEC reporting
  • Oversee the intercompany reconciliation processes and resolve any discrepancies.
  • Ensure compliance with all reporting requirements.
  • Present executive-level financial reports to the leadership team and external partners.
  • Manage the financial reporting calendar and ensure submissions.
  • Enhance financial transparency and predictability through comprehensive reporting.
  • Provide strategic financial insights to support business growth and steps.
  • Lead projects to refine and improve financial processes.
  • Remain informed about industry trends and changes in financial regulations.
  • Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of finance professionals, promoting a culture continuous development and improvement.
  • Lead training to develop skills within your team.
  • Partner with regional finance teams to ensure consistency in financial reporting practices across the organization.
  • Partner with the Director Financial Systems and team and with IT to implement and improve financial reporting systems and tools.
  • Research and document accounting policy positions.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Master's degree or equivalent qualifications like CPA or ACCA preferred).
  • 7+ years experience leading financial consolidation and reporting.
  • 7+ years experience of technical accounting.
  • 7+ years experience leading accounting process improvement.
  • 5+ years experience leading an accounting or consolidations team.
  • Experience in a publicly held corporation preferred.

Remote work is not permitted in NYC at this time.
