Job Purpose:
The Bleeding Fingers Custom Music Shop is a joint venture between Extreme Music, 14th Street Music and Hans Zimmer’s RCI Global.
Utilizing a roster of staff composers and the wider talent pool on the Zimmer campus the company creates original scores and show-specific custom libraries for unscripted, reality, documentary, and light drama television productions.

The Creative Coordinator works closely with clients and the Bleeding Fingers Music creative team to support and assist with delivery of superior original and authentic custom-made music created on demand and tailored for diverse projects.
The Creative Coordinator will interact with Creative, Legal, Financial, and Operations staff to support and ensure custom projects are completed accurately and on time
What You’ll Do: (intern responsibilities)
Creative Team:
- Work closely with the Creative Team in a fast-paced environment to maintain internal project and file tracking.
- Learn and adhere to established project management protocol and ensure all relevant information is correctly documented and archived.
- Maintain and update internal Creative Team Pibox and Box accounts (including Archive Database).
- Provide briefs and audio references to composers for client projects at the discretion of Creative Manager(s)/Director
- Update and maintain a searchable database of work for hire composers, session players, mix and master engineers, Pro Tools operators and studios.
- Critically review composer submissions for album briefs with Creative Team to deliver feedback on composition and production.
- Shadow Creative Team at recording sessions.
Awards and PR Coordination:
- Liaise with Marketing and Creative Coordinators to update IMdB credits for the BFM Team.
- Liaise with Marketing and Creative Coordinators to submit for various Awards: Jackson Wild
Who You Are:
- Bachelor's Degree
- Prior experience working within a Music Department setting and/or administrative role.
- Familiarity with Music Department on film or television productions, particularly with editors, music supervisors or similar.
- Superior communication skills with the ability to understand and effectively communicate and translate briefs in musical terms.
- Familiarity with many different genres of music, musical score, instrumentation and musical terms and a willingness to listen to and learn unfamiliar works.
- Familiarity with ProTools, Logic, Cubase, or similar DAWs.
- Familiarity with Sibelius or Finale Notation Software.
- Effective communicator, strong oral and written skills.
- Extraordinarily organized with a strong attention to detail.
- Self-starter; self-motivated; takes initiative on projects and figuring out answers to questions.
- Strong research and troubleshooting skills.
- Familiarity with the production of recording and electronic media projects.
- Must be willing to work around production schedules and deadlines including availability to work nights and weekends.
- Proactive and shows initiative with a sense of urgency.
- A collaborative and flexible style, positive disposition, with a strong TEAM mentality.
- Passionate about working in the creative industry and providing a quality product to clients.
- Self-motivated and enthusiastic.

- 7.5-hour business workday but variations in work volume frequently require extended working hours for evening and late-night events

- The anticipated annual base salary for this position is $28.20 - $30.76/ hr. This range does not include any other compensation components or other benefits that an individual may be eligible for.
