Job Description

The Dartmouth Group, an Associa company, is hiring a Maintenance Technician on Cape Cod.

Ideal candidate:

Lives on Cape Cod.

1+ year of general maintenance / handyman experience.

Willingness to learn.

Motivated to grow a career.

Work schedule:

Monday - Friday, 7am - 3:30pm

Rotating On-Call for emergencies nights, weekend, and holidays.

Daily responsibilities:

• Meet and greet homeowners, residents, guests, vendors, contractors, and fellow staff with courtesy and patience.
• Review work order requests.
• Perform work order requests, update and close out work order requests in the system.
• General maintenance repair, gutter cleaning, and downspout adjustments.
• Investigate and repair leaks, water in units, and in the basement.
• Attend to fire suppression system, triage leaks, and cleanup.
• Change out light bulbs, perform light drywall repair, patchwork, and paint.
• Obtain CPO (company paid) to conduct water testing and log.
• Perform minor janitorial services.
• Meet and greet homeowners, residents, guests, vendors, contractors, and fellow staff with courtesy and patience.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED Required.

1+ year of general maintenance / handyman experience.

Excellent communication skills, customer service focused, and team oriented.

Proactive, takes initiative, reliable, and dependable.

Ability to prioritize tasks with strong communication and follow-up skills.

Basic knowledge of tools, willingness to learn, and career motivated.

Valid driver's license is required.
