What you will do

As a Senior Associate, you will play a key role in client consulting engagements, focusing 50% on solution design and 50% on delivery. You will either contribute as an individual consultant or lead project teams, providing strategic input and practical solutions across areas such as procurement, supply chain management, and business process outsourcing. This role offers an excellent opportunity

to strengthen your client and project management skills while progressively developing your leadership capabilities. Additionally, as part of the Solution design team, you will be responsible for crafting persuasive proposals and responding to RFPs/RFIs from leading global organizations seeking procurement consulting and outsourcing solutions. While this is not a sales role and involves no sales targets, the team is critical in driving GEP’s business development and growth. You will collaborate closely with GEP’s senior leadership, including VPs and C-level executives, to design and finalize customized procurement solutions for our clients.

  • Key contributor of short to long term client project assignments to
  • meet the set goals by management
  • Developing category & sourcing strategies, execute projects and
  • deliver savings as projected
  • Spend data analysis, opportunity assessment, developing projects
  • pipeline, alignment with client, data reporting
  • Projects execution, supplier negotiations, contracting support
  • Interacting with mid-management stakeholders and suppliers
  • Work in cross-regional, cross-functional team environment
    • Working on end-to-end solution design/proposal development cycle
    • includes the following:
    • Summarizing client’s requirements to GEP executives
    • Understanding client requirements and designing a winning strategy
    • Creating a project plan to finalize responses within agreed timelines
    • Creating responses to client questions, designing compelling power-point presentations and finalizing a package that is client-ready
    • Designing solutions that include staffing, pricing, margin and value propositions
    • Presenting solutions to the top management in a convincing way and drive consensus on the final solution

What you should bring

  • 3 - 5 years of experience in business consulting within a multinational
  • environment or industry
  • Strong background in procurement, strategic sourcing, and category
  • management
  • Exposure to areas such as supply chain management, procurement
  • transformation, digitalization, sustainability, and strategic cost management is a plus
  • Excellent analytical and quantitative problem-solving skills
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and guide junior
  • team members
  • Strong relationship management skills with the ability to align with
  • client expectations
  • Proficient in MS Excel, PowerPoint, Word; knowledge of Power BI is
  • an advantage
  • Professional fluency in English; proficiency in German or French
  • preferred
  • Comfortable working both independently and in collaborative team
  • settings
  • Willingness to travel to client sites as required
