The Sr SDE for FinTech Productivity team will be the lead architect to define the right set of technology tools, infrastructure as well as the technical roadmap for the a suite of tools used to enhance the productivity for business teams across Amazon.

In this role, you'll have the opportunity to shape the future of our Fintech Productivity Automation team. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and engineers, to identify pain points and develop innovative solutions that streamline processes, enhance user experiences, and drive business growth.

You will design new solutions that have direct impact to customer experience, be a base for building variety of features for FinTech Productivity products. You will raise the bar on current design, propose improvements, identify impact to dependent systems, and execute on the proposals successfully.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree
• 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• 5+ years of programming with at least one software programming language experience
• 5+ years of leading design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
• Experience as a mentor, tech lead or leading an engineering team
• Experience leading and influencing your team or organization
• Self-directed, ability to multi-task, sharp analytical abilities, excellent communication skills, capable of working effectively in a dynamic environment

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• 5+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
• Knowledge of professional software engineering & best practices for full software development life cycle, including coding standards, software architectures, code reviews, source control management, continuous deployments, testing, and operational excellence
• Experience in communicating with users, other technical teams, and management to collect requirements, describe software product features, and technical designs
